Curry shrimp

Being from carribean decent we often eat a lot of curry. Curry anything crab, shrimp, chicken, even goat! And it’s definitely all yummy if it’s made right.

Today I decided to make curry shrimp which pairs perfectly with white rice (or brown) String beans or plantains can also make this dish complete .

The ingredients for this recipe are

  1. Half a pound peeled and deveined shrimp
  2. Half tsp adobo
  3. 5 all spice berries
  4. Half tsp black pepper
  5. Tbs curry powder
  6. Half tsp garlic powder
  7. Half tsp onion powder
  8. Quater cup green & orange bell peppers
  9. Quater finely chopped yellow onion

In a mixing bowl add cleaned shrimp and all ingredients mix together with a tsp olive oil.

In a medium pot heat up tablespoon olive oil or vegetable oil and add shrimps shaking off excess vegetables. At this point you want to cook shrimps a little before you add the veggies flipping at 2 min intervals. Next add the veggies and a qt water ; TIP* add water to mixing bowl where you seasoned the shrimp to get as much seasoning out the bowl as possible. Turn stove down to low and cover to let shrimps continue to cook

Stirring periodically and careful to not overcook the shrimp and in 30 min your meal should be complete . Enjoy !
