Jalepeño Stuffed w/ smoky gouda & shrimp wrapped in bacon

Every Tuesday I get the urge to celebrate “Taco Tuesday” and I usually never eat tacos on Tuesdays lol. I might get to some tacos by Wednesday to somewhere near Friday. I don’t know why but thats just how it usually ends up for me.

This special day which was a Friday I had family and friends over and decided to make fish tacos (first time success) and these YUMMY bacon wrapped stuffed jalepeño pepper appetizers.

These Jalepeño stuffed peppers were so easy to make and taste delicious

The ingredients needed for this recipe are

  1. 1 pound large shrimps cleaned and deveined
  2. spicy gouda cheese or any thick white cheese you desire
  3. 1 pound jalapeño peppers sliced in half length wise and seeds removed
  4. one pack of bacon
  5. oil for frying
  6. adobo seasoning for taste
  7. tsp garlic powder
  8. pinch black pepper

In a bowl or cutting board toss shrimp with seasonings and prepare peppers by cutting them lengthwise and remove seeds. place jalapeño flesh side up and then add strip of cheese followed by shrimp. Lastly wrap the bacon around the pepper.

Next I would secure the jalapeño peppers wrapped in bacon with a toothpick and get ready to fry them.

I placed them in the deep fryer until bacon is cooked and allowed the excess oil to drip on a rack.

Now they are done I paired these with fish tacos. One bite into the jalapeño peppers and the cheese drips out such a delight Hope you guys ENJOY!!!!
