Sweet Chili Wings in the Air Fryer

I am a HUGE new product tester..if it has good advertising I’m about 99% positive I will try it out lol. So when I started hearing great things about the air fryer and what you can make in it I was like I have to try this electric product. So I bought one and mine even came with a rotisserie attachment!!! How cool is that.

I made homemade French fries in it before and they came out pretty dope. I kept hearing how good the air fryer cooks chicken wings and its way healthier than frying chicken in oil so of course I had to try that. Im a big a wing lover (especially Wild Wings blazing wings… the extremely spicy flavor) so like any other day when im craving wings I decided to make some and I had recently got some sweet chili sauce from the market so I thought this would be perfect. So in rolls 10 pm and here I am preparing to cook some wings.

Ingredients needed are

  1. 5lb bag of party wings defrosted and cleaned
  2. 1 tsp garlic powder
  3. 1 tsp onion powder
  4. half tsp mustard
  5. tbs adobo (red top)
  6. 1 tsp complete seasoning
  7. 1 packet sazon
  8. Coconut cooking spray
  9. 1 bottle Maggi sweet chili sauce ( or homemade recipe will be posted at the bottom)

In a bowl pat dry wings and season with ingredients 2-7 and toss to combine. Plug in your air fryer (mine has a button specifically for chicken) it goes for 25 min at 380 degrees. Don’t overcrowd the air fryer place the chicken in so that they are not touching. Let chicken cook thoroughly flipping over half way thru cooking. If your feel your wings are not done set them back in air fryer and allow to continue to cook till they are cooked all the way thru. This method can also been done in the oven uncovered in a baking dish at 380 degrees at 1 hour flipped halfway thru.

After chicken is done in a clean bowl add sauce and add chicken to sauce to toss and get every piece covered in that amazing sauce plate with your choice of sauce on the side and some lime wedges and that’s it. These wings can be served with fries, fried pickles, tater tots etc.
