I’m on a mission sorta kinda to go virgin for 30 days (meat & chicken Virgin) but it’s not really a serious goal I can do it but I feel like if I wanna chow down on some chicken I won’t stop myself lol. But this is day 3 and for lunch I’ve made some soy ginger salmon. Super easy tasty and fast talk about 30 min meal.
For this recipe you’ll need
- 1/3 cup soy sauce (low sodium preferably)
- 1 tbs dark brown sugar
- 1 tsp minced garlic
- Salt & pepper
- Half a lime
- 1 tbs butter (unsalted)
- 1 tsp ginger purée
Next you’ll need a small sauce pan add the soy sauce, brown sugar and butter stir and let everything melt and incorporate with one another

While your house starts to smell marvelous get a baking dish and oil it up with olive oil and season your salmon with salt & pepper a dash of adobo

Now to the sauce add the juice of one lime and the minced garlic mix it up and boil a little till the sauce reduces a bit then remove from heat. Heat oven to 300 degrees. With a spoon pour some sauce on salmon let it sit for 5 min then pour some more now your salmon is ready for the oven.

This will go in the oven for 10 min after the ten minutes are up remove from the oven and apply sauce again ,back in the oven it goes . Repeat this process with 10 min intervals till the salmon is done to your liking

I repeated the process in a total of 3 times equally to 30 min my salmon was well done not the dry kind but the perfect texture.
Top the salmon with chopped scallions and Enjoy! Pictured below is the salmon over some sautéed spinach
